Made this oven baked chicken the other night and not only was it crispy and moist but much less messy than fried chicken. I used Grey Salt with Herbs & Garlic. But you could substitute any of the salts in this recipe. I marinated the chicken in buttermilk before I coated them however if you don't have the time just flour, dip and roll! ingredients marinade: 1/2 c buttermilk 2 teaspoons Sous Salt Grey Herb (or Sun Dried or Olive Thyme or Sweet & Savory) 1 clove garlic, smashed 4 chicken thighs and legs, split chicken prep: 2 c panko bread [...]

Here is my basic recipe for Hummus but please feel free to be creative in your interpretation. One more note I've used our Olive, Thyme, Lemon Zest Sous Salt in this recipe but any of the [...]

eggnog bundt cake

Want a moist, festive bundt cake for the Christmas Holiday? We had this Eggnog cake over the weekend and it was so good we ate the first one in one night and had to make another to snack on over the weekend.  I used Lite Eggnog and our Sous Salt Gobble Salt which has turmeric, black sea salt, cinnamon, cloves and cane sugar. So it made the recipe easy to put together as all the spices were in one jar! Ingredients: 1/2 c soften butter 1/2 c sugar 1/2 c brown sugar 2  room temperature eggs 1/2 t vanilla 1/4 c [...]

peanut butter cookies

One of my favorite chefs to use recipes from is Nancy Fuller from FarmHouse Rules.  Here is a chewy peanut butter cookie. I used chocolate chips instead of peanut butter ones to give it a little twist and I sprinkled them with Gobble (Boo Salt) Sous Salt instead of plain sugar. Ingredients 1 cup creamy peanut butter 3/4 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature 1/4 cup vegetable shortening 1 3/4 cups packed light brown sugar 2 large eggs, at room temperature 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour 1 1/4 teaspoons baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 [...]
